Prices and Services
 

The prices of the EDEAQ are straight and clear - nothing in small print in terms of so and so many additional charges for didactic material or a so-called “enrolment” or “administration fee,” etc. A lesson in the EDEAQ lasts not 45 minutes (or possibly 50), but 55 minutes. Furthermore: the package price includes the arrival transfer in Arequipa from the airport (AQP) or the bus terminal to your respective accommodations.

(Educational Leave of Absence)

The EDEAQ intensive courses are recognised as educational leave of absence in several German federal states (currently Berlin, Brandenburg, Hamburg, Hesse, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saxony-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein).

Applicants may choose their starting dates freely, but whenever possible try to start on a Monday, arriving in Arequipa at the latest on Sunday. - Tuition ends on 19 December 2008. Officially, the EDEAQ is closed over Christmas/New Year. For students who would like to extend their language course/stay beyond 24/25 December 2008 and into January 2009, individual arrangements, however, can be made.

ST = Standard Course: 20 private lessons of 55 minutes per week.

Intensive Course I: Standard Course + 4 private lessons of 55 minutes per week.

Intensive Course II: Standard Course + 8 private lessons of 55 minutes per week.


Included in the price are:
 
· Arrival transfer. From Arequipa Airport (AQP) or bus terminal to the accommodations in Arequipa.
· Course costs (tuition fees), including didactic material (without dictionary).
· Accommodations (one week = 6 overnights, two weeks = 13 overnights, three weeks = 20 overnights, etc. - Additional   week = 7 overnights).
HS:  Private accommodations in a single room with access to WC/shower) with an urban middle class family in Arequipa, including breakfast. Half board (i.e. breakfast plus lunch or dinner) is possible; the additional charge is USD 3.50 per meal per person. - For students travelling together, double rooms are available.
HH + HL:  **(*)Hotel. Room with WC/shower, TV, telephone, including breakfast. The walking distance to the to the school is about ten minutes. - For students travelling together, double rooms are available.
H4:  ***(*)Hotel. Room with WC/shower, TV, telephone, including breakfast. The walking distance to the school is about three minutes. - For students travelling together, double rooms are available.
· Support and advice unrelated to the classroom as well as touristic information.

Prices per week for tuition only (excluding accommodations and arrival transfer). Standard Course (20 lessons of 55 minutes) per week: USD 120.00. - Intensive Course I (24 lessons of 55 minutes) per week: USD 144.00. - Intensive Course II (28 lessons of 55 minutes) per week: USD 168.00.

Officially, the EDEAQ is closed over Christmas/New Year. For students who would like to extend their language course/stay beyond 24/25 December and into January 2010, individual arrangements, however, can be made.
 

If no group (at least two class participants) can be formed at a given performance level,
15 (standard) or 21 (intensive II) private lessons per week will be held.

Affinity Group means: starting date, course duration and performance level
